Net profit of Azerbaijan's banking sector grows 35%

The banking sector of Azerbaijan made a net profit of 683.2 million manats ($401.88 million) in January-September 2022, 35.1% more than a year ago, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

Within 9 months, pretax profit amounted to 840.2 million manats ($494.24 million), up 40.2% from a year earlier, and profit tax payments made up 157 million manats ($92.35 million), 67.4% more than a year ago.
