Net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks up by more than 11%

As of March 1, the net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 20,730.5 million manats.

Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that this is 0.4% more than a month earlier, 2.8% more than at the beginning of the year and 11.1% more than on March 1 last year.

At the end of February this year, the banks' net domestic assets reached 13,153.6 million manats, which is 6.1% less than a month earlier, 9.1% less than at the beginning of the year and 32.5% more than a year earlier.

There are 26 banks in Azerbaijan.
