Net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks up by 12% 

As of March 1, 2023, the net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 23.298 billion manats ($13.7 billion), 9.9% lower than a month ago, 6.9% less than early 2023, and 12% more year-on-year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

At the end of February 2023, the net domestic assets of banks made up 18,434.8 million manats ($10.84 billion), 14.2% more than the previous month’s figure, 3.6% more than early 2023, and 41% higher than a year ago.
