Net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks up by 10%

As of May 1, 2023, the net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 23.586 billion manats ($13.87 billion), 9.8% higher than a month ago, 5.8% less than early 2023, and 10.8% more than a year earlier, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).

At the end of April 2023, the net domestic assets of banks made up 17,591.5 million manats ($10.35 billion), 10.2% less than the previous month’s figure, 1.1% less than early 2023, and 22.6% higher than a year ago.
