Net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks down by about 3%

As of February 1, 2024, the net foreign assets of Azerbaijani banks amounted to 24,550.9 million manats ($14.44 billion), down 2.6% from a month ago, 5.1% from the same period in 2023, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
At the end of January 2024, the net domestic assets of banks made up 20,347.7 million manats ($11.97 billion), 2.5% more than the previous month’s figure, and 26% more than a year ago.
