Mortgage lending through state line increases by 18% in Azerbaijan

In January 2022, loans worth 13.9 million manats were issued through the Mortgage and Credit Guarantee Fund (MCGF), up 17.8% from the same period last year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, the amount of loans refinanced by the Fund increased by 8.5% to 21.6 million manats.
Last month, the MCGF did not raise funds by issuing bonds, the fund was allocated 23.8 million manats from the state budget (no funds were allocated in the same period last year).
