Money transfers from Austria to Azerbaijan rise by 7%

In 2024, individuals transferred $15 million from Austria to Azerbaijan, representing a 6.6% increase compared to the previous year.

Report informs that, according to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the share of these transfers in the total volume of international transactions grew from 0.8% to 1.4%.

At the same time, transfers from Azerbaijan to Austria decreased by 17%, totaling $5.7 million. Their share in the total volume of international transfers dropped from 1.3% to 1.1%.

Overall, individuals sent $526.8 million abroad from Azerbaijan (-4.25%), while $1.082 billion was received from abroad (-34.6%).
