Monetary base of Azerbaijan exceeds AZN 16B

As of August 1, the monetary base in Azerbaijan amounted to just over 16.12 billion manats ($9.48 billion), 3% more than on July 1, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
The monetary base decreased by 10.1% compared to the beginning of the year but showed a 13.4% year-on-year increase.
