Mikayil Jabbarov: Tax revenues from SMEs surged by 61%

Today marks the Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises Day, said Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov, Report informs.

"The promotion of SMEs is of paramount importance in diversifying our economy and developing the non-oil sector. From 2018 to 2021, the number of SMBs in our country grew by 45%, and their contribution to the nonoil GDP increased from 23.5% to 26.6%. In 2022, we witnessed a 19% growth in turnover for SMBs compared to 2021, and tax revenues surged by 61%. We wish continued success and achievements to our entrepreneurs," Jabbarov tweeted.
