Report's journalist among winners of writing competition held by ASA

Ilaha Mammadli, Deputy Editor-in-Chief at the Report Information Agency and Head of the Economics Department, has become one of the winners of the writing competition organized by the Azerbaijan Insurers Association (ASA) among journalists on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the National Press of Azerbaijan.

Today, ASA announced the results of the competition.

ASA Executive Director, Elmar Mirsalayev, congratulated the journalists on both the 150th anniversary of the National Press of Azerbaijan and their achievements in the writing competition, wishing them success in their future activities.

In his speech, Mirsalayev emphasized the invaluable role and importance of media in insurance awareness and promotion, expressing his sincere gratitude to the media for this support.

At the award ceremony of the writing competition on the topic "Life risks of borrowers in insurance coverage," special plaques and cash prizes were presented to the winners of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places, certificates and cash prizes to the owners of the next four places, and valuable gifts to the owners of the other three places.

In the writing competition, Rahim Tariverdiyev, Economics Correspondent of APA Information Agency, won 1st place; Ilaha Mammadli, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Report Information Agency, won 2nd place; and Ilhama Abdullayeva, Editor-in-Chief of Ena.az news portal, won 3rd place.

Certificates and cash prizes were presented to Yagut Aghashahgizi, economics Correspondent of Iki sahil newspaper; Zarina Orujaliyeva, Correspondent of Minval.az news site; Vafa Shahlayi, Editor-in-Chief of ATV television channel; and Mehin Gasimova, editor of Banco.az news portal.

Valuable gifts were presented to Narmin Gani, Director of Kommersant.az financial portal; Zulfiyya Guluyeva, Correspondent of Qafqazinfo.az News Agency; and Sarvana Ramikhanova, Employee of Valyuta.az news portal.

Ilaha Mammadli's article "Armored credit: How life insurance protects the future?" was published in two languages.

This writing competition was organized within the framework of the Memorandum "On mutual cooperation for systematic and consistent implementation of measures to increase insurance literacy, awareness, promotion and prevention" signed between the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Insurers Association and Compulsory Insurance Bureau.
