International card organizations impose one more ban on Azerbaijani banks

Owners of Azerbaijani banks’ plastic cards won’t be able to use 3D codes from next year.

A source in the banking sector told Report that Visa International and Mastercard imposed a ban on the local banks in this regard.

Thus, only dynamical 3D codes will be used in the country from 2020. The international companies say static codes are not secured.
