International Bank of Azerbaijan makes new appointments

Baku. 2 March. REPORT.AZ/ Three new staff joined managing team of International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA).

Report was informed in the bank, these persons are Ulvi Gasimov, Zamig Isaoglu and Eldar Khalilov.

U.Gasimov was appointed as advisor of IBA Board of Directors (BD) chairman. He was graduated from Azerbaijan State University of Economy in 2005 and has been employed in banking sector since 2006. He has significant experience in lending activities and was employed by “Unibank” OJSC before his last appointment. U.Gasimov will be engaged in development of corporate banking.

Z.Isaoglu was appointed as advisor of chairman of IBA BD. He studied in Azerbaijan State University of Economy and 9 Eylül University and Marmara University of Turkey. Z.Isaoglu, who at the same time holds Phd in economy, occupied various positions in Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA). He was internal control manager in “Azer-Turk Bank” OJSC before last appointment. He has rich experience in number of other banking and audit fields. Z.Isaoglu will be responsible for corporate management in IBA.

E.Khalilov was appointed as career planning and recruitment manager in human resources department. He studied in Azerbaijan State University of Economy and St. Petersburg State Technical University and was employed in various leading companies of Azerbaijan in this field since 2010. His last job was career planning and recruitment manager in “PASHA Bank” OJSC.

Notably, IBA started to announce vacancies for candidates in February of this year.

Financial and organizational rehabilitation of IBA is going on intensively. Successful realization of rehabilitation and restructuring process of the bank in the short term, fulfilment of objectives set forth in decree of the president of the Azerbaijan Republic on June 15, 2015 are main targets of management team of the bank led by head of BD Khalid Ahmadov.
