ING estimates drop in inflation in Azerbaijan this year

The Dutch company ING Group predicts average annual inflation in Azerbaijan at 1.1% in 2024, 3.8% in 2025, and 4.2% in 2026, Report informs referring to forecasts published by the company.
The new forecast for this year is 0.5 percentage points less than the forecast in May, while remaining unchanged for other years.
According to forecasts, in the second quarter of 2024, the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan is expected at 0%, in the third quarter at 1.2%, and in the fourth quarter at 2.5%.
Meanwhile, in the first quarter of 2025, the average annual inflation in Azerbaijan is expected at 3.4%, in the second quarter at 4.1%, and in the third quarter at 3.9%.
