IMF forecasts growth in Azerbaijan’s GDP

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in Azerbaijan is expected to reach AZN 84.853 billion ($49.914 billion) this year, up 17.1% from 2020, Report informs, citing the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
The nominal GDP is forecasted to be AZN 86.463 billion ($50.861 billion) in 2022, AZN 88.934 billion ($52.314 billion) in 2023, respectively, up 1.9% and 2.9% from a year earlier.
The real GDP is expected to increase by 2.3% to AZN 29.213 billion in 2021, by 1.7% to AZN 29.708 billion in 2022, and by 1.7% to AZN 30.214 billion.
