IFC includes Azerbaijan in global sustainable water infrastructure program

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has included Azerbaijan in the global sustainable water infrastructure program, IFC's representative in Azerbaijan Aliya Azimova said at the Sustainable Development Goals Dialogue on "Voices of the Future: Coordinating Climate Action and Efforts Towards Global Goals" held in Baku, Report informs.
"The global water scarcity is deepening, and Azerbaijan is not exempt from this process. Water scarcity is already being felt in the country. The unstable weather conditions are making the situation even worse," Azimova noted.
