Government spending for Karabakh’s reconstruction grows by about half billion manats

According to the updated forecasts of the state budget of Azerbaijan, 2.670 billion manats ( $1.570 billion) will be allocated for the reconstruction and restoration of the liberated territories this year.

It is 21.4% or 470 million ( $276.470 million) manats more than the approved forecast, Report informs referring to the updated draft law "On the state budget of Azerbaijan for 2022."

These expenditures are reflected in the construction and urban planning spending of the state budget. Expenditures in this article were set at 5.972 billion manats ( $3.513 billion), which is 980.6 million manats ( $576.516 million) or 19.6% more than the previous budget forecast.

Of this, 3.286 billion manats ( $1.933 billion) (17.8% or 496.6 million manats ( $292.117 million) more than the previous forecast) were state capital investments, according to the information.
