Gas prices in Europe up 1.6%

Exchange prices for gas in Europe increased by 1.6%, to almost $422 per 1,000 cubic meters, Report informs referring to the London ICE exchange.
August (nearest) futures on the TTF index (the largest hub in Europe, located in the Netherlands) opened trading at $421.2 (+1.4%) per 1,000 cubic meters.
Then their cost was $421.9 (+1.6%). The dynamics of quotes are given from the settlement price of the previous trading day - $415.4 per 1,000 cubic meters.
Back in mid-February, exchange gas in Europe was significantly more expensive - prices exceeded $630 per 1,000 cubic meters for the first time in two years.
