Foreigners double transactions via bank cards in Azerbaijan

The transactions carried out by foreign citizens in Azerbaijan via bank cards amounted to 1,502.2 million manats ($0.88 billion) in January-August 2022, Report informs, citing the Export Review journal of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication.

According to the Center, the volume of transactions increased by 2.1 times compared to the same period in 2021.

In August alone, the volume of transactions via bank cards amounted to 214.6 million manats ($126.24 million), two times more than in the same period last year.
