Foreign direct investment in Azerbaijan's economy in 1H24 reaches $3B

Foreign direct investment (FDI) in the economy of Azerbaijan in the first half of 2024 amounted to $3 billion, Samir Nasirov, director of the Statistics Department of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, said at the bank's briefing, Report informs.
He noted that during this period, direct investments of Azerbaijani residents abroad amounted to about $1 billion.
Nasirov added that the volume of capital repatriation from Azerbaijan in January-June is estimated at $3.4 billion.
