FinMin: BSTDB has provided €510 million in loans to Azerbaijan so far"

The Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB) has provided 510 million euros in loans to the private sector in Azerbaijan since it started operation, the Minister of Finance, Samir Sharifov, said at the Azerbaijan-BSTDB business forum, Report informs.
According to him, the Bank also participated in the development of local financial markets: "In 2019, the Baku Stock Exchange CJSC held an auction on corporate bonds of the BSTDB, and the funds raised will be used to finance the private sector in Azerbaijan. Thus, the Bank became the first international financial institution to place bonds in the national currency in Azerbaijan."
