Effective rates of Azerbaijani manats drop in April

As of May 1, the nominal effective exchange rate of the Azerbaijani manat was 91.2 points against foreign currencies.
Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that this is 2 points less than a month earlier, 5.8 points more than early 2022 and 13.6 points more than the same period last year.
At the end of April this year, the real effective exchange rate of the manat was 115.9 points, 3.7 points lower than a month ago, 2.3 points more than early 2022 and 11.9 points more than a year ago.
