Davut Mentes: 'We would like Azerbaijani insurance companies to enter Turkish market'

The Turkish Insurance and Individual Pension Regulation and Supervision Agency supports the entry of Azerbaijani insurance companies into the Turkish insurance market, chairman Davut Mentes told Report.

According to him, no request has been received from any insurance company in Azerbaijan: “But if there is, we will highly value it. Türkiye attaches great importance to Azerbaijan's insurance market.”

He noted that Türkiye also wants to create a center similar to the Insurance Information and Monitoring Center in Azerbaijan: “The issue related to this will be resolved in the short run.”
