Chairman: Chamber of Accounts attaches special importance to studying, applying int’l experience

The Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan attaches special importance to studying and applying international experience, strengthening knowledge and information exchange, as well as developing regional cooperation, Chairman of the Chamber Vugar Gulmammadov said, as quoted by Report.

Speaking at the 62nd meeting of the Governing Board of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) in Baku, Gulmammadov said hosting this event in Baku is both a matter of pride and responsibility for Azerbaijan: "Being elected to the ASOSAI Governing Board is both an indication of trust and a responsibility for more active participation in the future."

The chairman also noted that expanding knowledge and experience exchange between supreme audit institutions will allow for cooperation to be established on a more systematic basis.
