CBA updates inflation forecasts

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has updated its forecasts, projecting annual inflation in Azerbaijan to be around 5.5% in 2025 and 3.8% in 2026, Report informs, citing the CBA.
The CBA noted that its current monetary policy aims to maintain inflation within the target range and stabilize inflation expectations. Under this policy framework, the base scenario anticipates that annual inflation will stay within the target range (4±2%) for both 2025 and 2026.
Previously, the CBA had forecasted an annual inflation rate of 5.8% for 2025.
