CBA: Share of business loans reaches 56%

The share of business loans in bank loans has reached 56% in Azerbaijan, the Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Taleh Kazimov at the plenary meeting of the Milli Majlis on November 16, Report informs.
“In January-October of this year, the loan portfolio of banks in Azerbaijan grew by 16.8%, including the business loan portfolio by 12%. We implement a policy limiting the growth of consumer loans in order to reduce inflation and ensure financial stability,” Kazimov said.
