CBA notes in circulation exceed $600M 

Today, the notes of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) in circulation stood at 1,050,000,000 manats ($0.62 billion) for the first time since March 17, 2021, Report informs, citing the bank.

The CBA has been implementing a new monetary policy since September 1, 2022. In this framework, the lower limit of the interest corridor was reduced to 4%. Along with 28-day notes, 84-, 168-, and 252-day notes were also put into circulation. Currently, the annual yield of the notes is 3.79%, 4.19%, 4.41%, and 4.78%, respectively.
