Budget revenues through customs authorities in Azerbaijan up by 6%

In January-February 2024, revenues to the state budget through customs authorities in Azerbaijan amounted to 1.02 billion manats (nearly $600 million), 6.1% more than in the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
In particular, over the past year, revenues from customs duties increased by 7.4% to 289.7 million manats ($170.4 million), revenues from value added tax (VAT) increased by 5.1% to 682.2 million manats ($401.3 million), revenues from excise duties increased by 14.8% to 38.8 million manats ($22.8 million), and revenues from road tax decreased by 5.5% to 7.1 million manats ($4.2 million).
