Broad money supply rises 15% in Azerbaijan

As of May 1, 2023, the broad money supply in Azerbaijan amounted to 41.177 billion manats ($24.22 billion).
Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that the broad money supply increased by 0.2% compared to April 1 this year, dropped by 3.8% compared to the beginning of the year, and surged by 15.5% in comparison to a year earlier.
The broad money supply in manats amounted to 30.189 billion manats ($17.76 billion), 1.7% more than the same indicator as of April 1, 2.1% more than the beginning of the year, and 24.7% higher than the previous year.
