Broad money supply in Azerbaijan up by over 4%

As of May 1, the broad money supply (M3) in Azerbaijan amounted to 47.2 billion manats ($27.76 billion), Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
This is 1% more than the previous month, 1.5% more than in early 2025, and 4.3% more year-on-year.
In particular, the money supply in manat (M2) amounted to 35.44 billion manats ($20.85 billion), which is 0.3% less than the previous month, 3.3% less than in early 2025, and 3.4% more year-on-year.
As of May 1, demand deposits (M1) amounted to 28.06 billion manats ($16.5 billion), which is 0.9% less than the previous month, 5.3% less than in early 2025, and 0.9% less year-on-year.
As of the specified date, the cash mass outside banks (M0 aggregate) was 16.46 billion manats ($9.68 billion), which is 0.2% less than the previous month, 1.2% more than in early 2025, and 4.9% more year-on-year.
