Bitcoin drops below $24,000 for first time since December 2020

Bitcoin fell by almost 13%, to $23,748, Report informs, citing Binance data.
According to Report, the last time such a drop was observed in December 2020.
Bitcoin was at $23,909 this morning.
Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency in the world, has fallen more than 8% to $1,176, its lowest since March 2021.
Global stock markets began to fall from Friday, June 10, after inflation in the US hit a new high. In March, the annual inflation in the US hit a 40-year high of 7.9%. Experts believe that the correlation between stock markets and bitcoin continues to gain momentum.
