Baku Stock Exchange turnover more than doubles

The total value of transactions on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) in January-February 2024 amounted to 5,303,733,000 manats ($3.12 billion), increasing by 2.4 times in comparison to the previous year, Report informs.

Over the past year, the number of concluded transactions increased by 18.9% to 2.274.

Repo operations nearly tripled to 3,473,124,000 manats ($2.04 billion), accounting for 65.5% of BSE's turnover.

During the reporting period, the value of state securities surged by 64.4% to 1,510.977 million manats ($0.89 billion), and the transactions on the corporate securities market quadrupled to 319.632 million manats ($188.02 million).
