Baku Stock Exchange turnover jumps 83%

The total value of transactions on all financial instruments of the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) in 2023 amounted to 27,335,355,000 manats ($16.06 billion), increasing by 82.9% in comparison to the previous year, Report informs.
Over the past year, the number of concluded transactions has increased by 23% to 12,918.
Repo operations increased by 3.4 times to 17,384,461,000 manats ($10.23 billion), accounting for 63.6% of BSE's turnover.
During the reporting period, the value of state securities grew by 1.1% to 8,405.581 million manats ($4.94 billion), and the transactions on the corporate securities market dropped by 1.9% to 1,545.314 million manats ($0.91 billion).
