Baku sees 7% surge in average salaries

The average nominal salary of hired employees in Baku reached 1,255.5 manats (over $738) in the period from January to November 2024, marking a 7.4% increase compared to the same period in 2023, Report informs citing Baku Statistics Office.

The rise in average salaries is not limited to Baku alone. Across Azerbaijan, the average monthly nominal salary of hired employees grew by 8% compared to the corresponding period in 2023, reaching 996.8 manats ($586.35).
