Azerbaijani bankers familiarize themselves with advanced practices of Bank of New York Mellon

Representatives of the banking sector of Azerbaijan familiarized themselves with the advanced practices of Bank of New York Mellon in operations and the application of innovative technologies, the Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Taleh Kazimov said in a post on the social network X, according to Report.

"The concluding meeting of the Azerbaijan banking mission took place in New York City with officials from the BNY Mellon. During the meeting with the Senior Executive Vice President and Head of International at BNY Mellon Hani Kablawi, we underlined the objectives of the Azerbaijan banking mission and discussed potential areas for bilateral cooperation. Additionally, accompanied by members of the banking mission, we visited BNY Mellon's Cyber, Technology, and Operations Center. This visit provided us with insights regarding the center's advanced practices in operations and the application of innovative technologies," he said.
