Azerbaijan to use Turkish experience in insurance sector

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) will soon launch a project to digitalize the insurance sector, CBA Director-General Ziya Aliyev said, Report informs.
Ziya Aliyev noted that Azerbaijan will apply the Turkish model.
"The Insurance Information Center is Turkiye's largest know-how in this field. We intend to bring it to Azerbaijan and apply it," he said.
According to him, insurance intermediaries and independent experts are cooperating with the Turkish side in the development of dispute resolution mechanisms in the development of market infrastructure.
"One of the developed areas in Turkiye is compulsory insurance. We are cooperating in this area as well," Aliyev added.
