Azerbaijan to enable Google Pay next month 

Google Pay (GPay) system will be enabled in Azerbaijan in July, a source in the banking sector told Report.

According to the source, the work for activating the platform in Azerbaijan has been completed: “We reached an agreement with Google in April. At the same time, we also reached a deal with Visa and MasterCard systems. As the Azerbaijani side, we have done everything we can. Only the other side has to make a decision. We have been told that the system will be activated in July. However, the process may be delayed for a month for reasons stemming from them. But, it won’t go beyond August, and we’ll be able to use GPay this summer.”
