The Azerbaijan Insurers Association (AIA) is starting cooperation with prestigious Japanese companies in the insurance sector, Report informs, citing AIA.
A delegation consisting of leaders from Azerbaijan's life and non-life insurance companies visited Tokyo, Japan, on the initiative AIA. The main purpose of the visit was to learn about innovative technologies, digital solutions, and artificial intelligence applications in insurance implemented by Japan's leading insurance companies.
During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation held meetings with prestigious companies such as Ichinen Holdings Ltd, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Aioi Nissay Dowa Insurance Co., Ltd, SOMPO Holdings Inc., Dai-ichi Life Insurance Company, and The TOA Reinsurance Company. During these meetings, local insurers became closely acquainted with Japan's advanced insurance practices and held significant discussions for future collaborations.
As part of the visit, a business meeting was also held with Toyonari Sasaki, the head of the Life Insurance Association of Japan, which is a board member of the Global Federation of Insurance Associations (GFIA) of which AIA is also a member. The prospects for developing bilateral relations were extensively discussed.
