The role of taxes in ensuring the financial sustainability of our country is consistently growing over the years, the Minister of Economy, Mikayil Jabbarov, wrote on X, Report informs.
“Throughout 2023, the tax revenues collected by the State Tax Service increased by 3.8%, compared to 2022, and amounted to 16,126.7 million manats ($9.49 billion). During this period, the tax revenues from the non-oil and gas sector grew by 19.3% compared to the previous year, reaching 9,707.8 million manats ($5.71 billion),” the minister said.
