Azerbaijan, Saudi Arabia mull application of innovative technologies in banking sector

Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia discussed the application of innovative technologies in the banking sector, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan Taleh Kazimov said in a post on X.

According to Report, Kazimov said he met with Talal Al-Humoud, Assistant Governor for Monetary Affairs at the Saudi Central Bank, as part of the conference held in Al Ula.

"During the meeting, we exchanged views on enhancing the effectiveness of monetary policy transmission and expanding the use of innovative technologies.

Additionally, we discussed prospects for further deepening cooperation through strengthened exchange of expertise and experience between our institutions," Kazimov said.
