Azerbaijan's retail trade turnover up by 3.2%

In January-August 2023, the retail trade network sold 35.7 billion manats ($21 billion) worth of goods to consumers, including 20.2 billion manats ($11.9 billion) worth of food, beverage, and tobacco wares, and 15.5 billion manats ($9.1 billion) worth of non-foods, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
The retail trade in real expression rose by 3.2% compared to January-August 2022, with food, beverage, and tobacco products increasing by 2.1% and non-food products surging by 4.5%.
