Azerbaijan's insurance market grows by 13%

In January-October of this year, 797.625 million manats ($469.19 million) in insurance premiums were collected through 20 insurance companies in Azerbaijan, 13% more year-on-year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan

During the reporting period, the of payments made by insurance companies amounted to 359.297 million manats ($211.35 million), 10.4% less than a year ago.

During the first ten months of the year, 45 manats ($26.47) were paid for every 100 manats ($58.82) collected in the insurance market. In the same period last year, this figure was 56.9 manats ($33.47).
