Azerbaijan's insurance market grows by 13%

In January-August of this year, 654.918 million manats ($385.259 million) in insurance premiums were collected through 20 insurance companies in Azerbaijan, 12.8% more year-on-year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan
During the reporting period, the amount of payments made by insurance companies was 283.671 million manats ($166.87 million), 16.5% less than a year ago.
During the first eight months of the year, 43.3 manats ($25.47) of every 100 manats ($58.82) collected in the insurance market were paid. In the same period last year, this indicator was 58.5 manats ($34.41).
