Azerbaijan's insurance market grows 34%

In January-March 2023, 346.91 million manats ($204.06 million) in insurance premiums were collected through 20 insurance companies in Azerbaijan, 34.2% more year-on-year, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
During the reporting period, the payments made by insurance companies amounted to 102.29 million manats ($60.2 million), 67.1% more than a year ago.
In three months, 29.5 manats ($17.35) were paid for every 100 manats ($58.82) collected in the insurance market. In the same period last year, this figure was 23.7 manats ($14.94).
