Azerbaijan posts nearly 16% increase in money supply in manat

As of May 1, 2022, the broad money supply in Azerbaijan amounted to 35.638 billion manats ($20.96 billion).
Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that the broad money supply increased by 2.1% compared to April 1, 2022, by 2.9% compared to the beginning of the year and by 19.8% by contrast to a year earlier.
The broad money supply in manats amounted to 24.215 billion manats ($14.24 billion), 2.6% more than the same indicator as of April 1, 1.4% - than at the beginning of the year, and 15.9% - than in annual terms.
