Azerbaijan posts 27% decline in troubled loans

As of June 1, 2023, the overdue loans in Azerbaijan stood at 490.1 million manats ($288.29 million), up 17.2% from the previous month, Report informs, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
This figure is 17.4% less than in early 2023 and 27.3% less than a year earlier.
In the reporting period, the share of troubled loans in the total loan portfolio was 2.3%, while this figure was 2.8% in late April, 2.9% in late 2022, and 3.6% as of May 1, 2022.
