The delegation of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), on a working trip to the United States, participated in the Constituency Meeting within the framework of the World Bank (WB) and International Monetary Fund (IMF) Spring Meetings held in Washington, DC, Report informs, citing the CBA.
During his speech at the meeting, the First Deputy Chairman of the CBA, Aliyar Mammadyarov, highlighted information about Azerbaijan's macroeconomic indicators and development trends in the financial sector. He emphasized the great importance of long-term effective partnership with the World Bank and the IMF.
The meeting was attended by state and government officials from member countries of the Constituency, senior officials of the World Bank and IMF, and representatives of international financial institutions. Topics of interest among member countries, global and regional challenges, as well as development prospects were discussed during the event.
