Azerbaijan increases direct investments in Ireland's economy nearly fourfold

In 2024, Azerbaijan invested $12.4 million in Ireland's economy, 3.8 times more than the previous year.
According to Report, which cites the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, during the indicated period, Azerbaijan's share of investments in Ireland's economy grew from 0.1% to 0.7% of the total investment volume.
Over the same period, Ireland made no direct investments in Azerbaijan's economy.
In 2024, Azerbaijan's direct investments abroad totaled $1.76 billion, a decrease of 43.45%, while direct investments from abroad amounted to $7.05 billion, showing an increase of 5.8%.
