Azerbaijan, Georgia mull prospects for co-op in audit

A working meeting of representatives of the supreme audit institutions of Azerbaijan and Georgia has been held in Tbilisi, during which they discussed the possibilities of expanding cooperation and exchanging experience, Report informs referring to the Accounts Chamber.

The delegation from Azerbaijan was headed by Chairman of the Chamber Vugar Gulmammadov.

The Georgian side presented information on the strategic plan for 2023-2027, the practice of auditing consolidated financial statements of the government, audit efficiency and the quality management system.

The Azerbaijani delegation shared its experience on the strategic plan for 2021-2025, tax revenue audit, the ClimateScanner initiative and international cooperation.

The parties noted the importance of strengthening institutional capacity and expanding cooperation in the field of audit.
