Azerbaijan and World Bank discuss cooperation

Azerbaijan and the World Bank have discussed prospects for future cooperation.
Report informs, citing the Ministry of Finance, that First Deputy Minister of Finance Anar Karimov met with the World Bank’s Country Manager for Azerbaijan, Stephanie Stallmeister; the Head of the Governance and Institutional Development Program for the Europe and Central Asia region; and Public Finance Management Expert Adrian Fozzard.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the current cooperation and highlighted the Azerbaijani government’s interest in expanding it. Discussions included technical assistance provided by the World Bank to support public finance management reforms and explored prospects for further collaboration in this area.
