Azerbaijan and Abu Dhabi move to the next stage in information exchange cooperation, Ogtay Gasimov, Deputy Chairman of the Baku Stock Exchange CJSC, said while answering Report's question during a meeting with journalists.
According to Gasimov, work is underway on the previously planned Azerbaijan-Abu Dhabi financial information exchange platform, and it is already at the stage of signing the agreement: "Within this cooperation, we are working on a system that will ensure the sharing of information through different information channels. The goal is to strengthen mutual experience and information exchange, as well as to increase the efficiency of financial markets."
Gasimov added that the agreement planned for signing clearly reflects information security, technical support, and mutual obligations of the parties: "After the agreement is signed, the integration and testing phase will begin. This will allow for the functional and transparent implementation of the platform."
"Within this cooperation, we will provide access to instruments traded both in the domestic market and on the Abu Dhabi exchange through the Tabadul trading platform. Currently, it is necessary to implement changes and regulations arising from the legal framework and the characteristics of the domestic capital market ecosystem," he emphasized.
